Visual Art Open Emerging Artists Award 2020

I'm delighted to have been selected as one of the ten finalists in the Painting and Mixed Media category of the Visual Art Open Emerging Artists Award 2020 with 'Sleep Patterns'.

Recycled pallet wood, draw runners, nails, wire and found objects. 98 x 53 x 15 cm.

A 1/4 scale representation of my own bed in which my persistent insomnia often becomes a dominant, creative source. All materials are recycled, mostly sourced from street combing and left outdoors to 'weather', sometimes for years, before utilisation.
